Returning to the Source is made from foraged Earth minerals from Scotland and Shellness using black sea coal and burnt wood. This painting is part of The Undertones of Being Collection.
This collection of work is a reflective journey into the essence of existence by delving into the rhythmic simplicities of the natural world through a limited palette of black and white tones. With a desire to evoke introspection and dialogue around the impact of modern societal and environmental issues on our collective consciousness, this collection explores the delicate interplay between darkness and beauty.
